How TreeMerch works
From a design to a living mangrove, in four steps.
1 · A creator uploads a design
Creators can explore catalog concepts, but a product becomes sale-ready only after TreeMerch records one exact provider SKU, material specification, colour/size map, decoration method and current base cost.
2 · You buy it
Real checkout opens only when the selected SKU passes a live provider connection and variant check. Every product page shows how many trees are included, and buyers can top up extra mangroves at $0.10 each.
3 · The paid order reaches the printer
The exact artwork, placement, variant, quantity and delivery address are sent to the mapped provider. If credentials, stock or mappings fail the pre-payment check, TreeMerch does not create a payment session.
4 · Treegens plants your mangroves
Tree funds go to Treegens, who plant mangroves at $0.10 per tree. Planting is recorded in a public ledger and totals appear on the leaderboard.
Questions, answered
How do I know the trees are real?
Treegens, the reforestation organisation behind treegens.org, has already planted 626,748 trees across 10 restoration sites in Kenya and Tanzania, filmed before and after planting. Every tree funded here is recorded in our planting ledger and batched to Treegens on top of that record. The sitewide counter and leaderboard read from that same ledger, and planting receipts are shared.
How are material claims checked?
Every live listing carries the blank's own fibre claim from the print provider. A blank that is not verified as sustainably made is not listed, and checkout cannot reach it.
Which provider is connected?
Each live product is mapped to one exact provider SKU. Checkout quotes that provider's shipping for the destination and only opens a payment session after the live fulfilment check passes. The product page shows Live product and fulfilment verified when that check has passed.
How do referrals work?
Join amiGROW and share your link. Friends get 5% off, you earn 5% commission, and the platform plants a mangrove in your name for every $5 they spend. Refer a creator and you also earn a 5% royalty on their product sales until you have earned $5,000 in total, which is 5% of $100,000 in sales by the creators you referred. Your trees rank on the public leaderboard.
How do amiGROW partners get paid?
In $TGN by default: your commission is converted to USDC, swapped for $TGN on Base and sent to your wallet, with no bank account needed. You can choose USDC on Base or a USD bank transfer instead when you sign up, and change it any time on the amiGROW page.
How do creators get paid?
Creators keep 100% of their margin (price minus base cost minus their guaranteed trees). TreeMerch takes no platform fee. Discount codes, the 5% amiGROW referral commission and, if an amiGROW partner referred you, their 5% royalty come out of the margin on that sale, so a seller always knows their floor: base cost and their guaranteed trees are covered first. Payouts can be requested from the dashboard any time.
